			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Can anyone tell me how can I &quot;multiplex&quot; the audio resources when playing music with MPD?</p><p>(i.e I cannot make Skype calls (Audio callback error)/flash videos are automatically muted, vlc is automatically muted when MPD is playing something ).</p><p>This is not a big problem as a simple mpc toggle solves these issues, however this still bothers me. Can anyone help me with that?</p><p>Edith says: I am using alsa. Just in case if it&#039;s relevant.</p>]]></content>

I was trying to start mpd from autostart.sh and it wouldn&#039;t work because nm-applet hadn&#039;t established a network connection through WiFi yet. I confirmed this by seeing the error in ~/.xsession_error</p><p>The fix was the add the following to /etc/hosts (as per URL from Milozzy):<br />::1 localhost.localdomain localhost</p><p>Hope this info helps someone else!</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Oh boy, I think I&#039;ve claimed victory too soon.</p><p>In fact, if I comment out bind_to_address &quot;localhost&quot; in ~/.mdpconf, GMPC and ARIO can no longer connect to MPD; however MPD is up and running and Sonata still work.<br />I really disappointed...I found this bug report <a href="http://www.musicpd.org/mantis/view.php?id=3195">http://www.musicpd.org/mantis/view.php?id=3195</a> and the problem seems to be similar...<br />There they say that it was a bug of versions previous to 0.16 and I am actually using 0.15 of Squeeze...but, if this the case, why am I the only here with this strange problem?</p>]]></content>
