Thank you for the welcome.  Just a quick response - solved the VirtualBox issue. Had the wrong linux-headers listed.  Installed the right ones and fixed the problem.  However the Remastersys issue seems to revolve around  aufs-modules or unionfs-modules, and whether the kernel supports these.  Is there an answer to this, or maybe a shove in the right direction?  I can't seem to find an answer in the forums but I may have missed something.  Otherwise it's all looking good.  Even had a crack at putting a clock into conky.  Love it!

Just thought I'd drop a line.  Have been using PCLinuxOS on my main computer for the past year and a half - prior to that various Ubuntus.  Have installed Linux Mint on 13 computers across two community organizations in our small town.  One of them had PCLinusOS for the past eighteen months, but PC2010 had an inexplicable conflict with our new hardware.  I currently have my second computer running five other distros, and I am really warming to #! in a big way.  I have the Statler alpha_2, and I can see it replacing my current setup once I figure out my issues with remastersys and VirtualBox.  Love Openbox - I'm an inveterate twiddler.  Keep up the good work.
