Hello everyone, I am running Crunchbang linux after ubuntu and I set my keyboard layout to US, my ´` keys are adding diacritics to any letters I press next. For example when I press ' and space the ' " are showing up normaly but only when I press space. If I press ' and I press any key after it, it gets a top line. For example I can write Ćŕúńćhbáńǵ ĺíńúx with the help of the " or ` buttons.
This is a feature that I really do not want because I eagered to use Crunchbag mainly to code in a fast enviroment and this breaks all my fun while coding. ( I am running it on an Intel Celeron 2.66 Ghz with 1 gb memory and a Geforce 6200 128 mb video card because ubuntu is sluggish with most programming apps + lamp so any solution is accepted)

I don't know how this feature is called, if I knew I had disabled it myself.

Also, another problem is that KeyTouch is not working. I want to use my Calculator, Mute, Volume, Web, My Computer buttons on my keyboard in crunchbang but I cannot, any solution ?
I am running an Openbox/Lxde/Xfce combination.

Edit: I've solved the first problem by setting a non dead key keymap.
But how I set up Keytouch to work ?
