To be honest I wasn&#039;t totally blown away by Crunchbang and not sure if the distro is for me. </p><p>I did just get a HP Tx2604ca which is basically one of the newer non multitouch laptop/tablets so I was thinking about shipping my 2133 home to my family with Ubuntu on it or something. </p><p>Anyway though, glad to see you got it up and running. I really do wish I had waited and gotten a MiniNote with an Atom processor instead =(</p>]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>I booted the 8.10.02 SDE LiveCD from a USB stick using xforcevesa without any glitch, and everything worked fine. But when I tried to install the OS I got stuck on the partitioning stage. I get a blank partition table -- nothing shows up, as if I don&#039;t have a hard disk. Weird.</p><p><strong>edit:</strong> Tried repartioning the hdd using Parted Magic via USB stick. Success! Now the installation is going through.</p><p>(My firmware version is F.02)</p>]]></description>

Downgrading to F04 is usually recommended.</p>]]></description>

Sometimes it just restarts for no apparent reason, which I find bizarre. Have the new bios and everything. Can&#039;t remember what the last tech said it might be. I think he/she recommended that I use it in safe mode constantly (when in XP) and see if it restarts then, if not it&#039;s not their problem!</p>]]></description>
