THX 1138, isn't that the one starring Robert Duval somewhere in the seventies? You like sci-fi, I reckon? How about "Contact", "PAX" or "Donnie Darko"? Or if we go back, how about "Silent running" with bruce Dern? You seen them all?

Contact was OK. With PAX, are you talking about K-PAX with Kevin Spacey? If so, not my cup of tea. Duval in a bunny costume tongue Donnie Darko is going to be a classic.

With sci-fi, 2001: A Space Odyssey is one of my all time favorites. But, basically all Kubrick films are classics.

Blade Runner!!

one of the few good Philip K. Dick Movies!!! Of course!!!

Most of the other Dick movies were kind of disappointing. I like Total Recall for what it is, but it wasn't really awe aspiring. I wished they didn't try a different twist in Minority Report and would of stuck more with the intentional twist in the original, but I'm glad Blade Runner didn't stay with the original. I did like Screamers and A Scanner Darkly quite a bit but they still don't rise to the level of Blade Runner. Next was boring. Paycheck and Imposter were based off his stories but I haven't seen either one or hear any good comments about either one.

Impostor has Gary Sinise and the guy who plays Warrick Brown in CSI in it. It's not terrible, but I wouldn't go out your way to watch out. ("Oh! Impostor is on tonight Guess I'll watch that." being the limits I guess.)

Paycheck.... John Woo + Ben Affleck, never gonna be the best movie, is it? They also picked a Philip K. Dick novel without a ridiculous name, so you know you're off to a bad start. It's okay. I wouldn't watch it again.

You know he's had more of his novels turned into movies than most any other Sci-Fi writer?

He's had more than Asimov and Clarke put together.

I am a sucker for a good zombie flick, although I am not sure I could name any single one as my favourite.

The last zombie movie I have seen is "Dead Snow." Even though it was in Norwegian and I had to watch with subtitles, it was a really good zombie flick (if you want to call them nazi zombies).

Re: Your favorite movie?

Just one is limited, I can name 2001 A Space Odyssey, Apocalipse Now, Star Wars-Empire Strikes Back, Blade Runner and (for me) one of the best Clint Eastwood films - The good, the bad and the ugly.
But I'm a fan of Star Wars, and 007.

Re: Your favorite movie?

I did indeed mean Coen brothers. And it's hard to choose one, though it would probably be the Big Lebowski.

My friend thinks I did her wrong, which I half did, and then she did the same back to me, so nah, that's gone. No worries.
