Opera 10.50 will change the game up soon ... early testing on the Windows version has it winning on speed pretty convincingly:

I really like Opera ... the only thing that irked me was the fiddling needed to make embedded Youtube videos work. The built-in Bit Torrent client, Turbo mode, tab previews, etc. ... all excellent features. Add to that the speed of 10.50 (only alpha version is available for Linux at the moment) and you have a pretty good browser. I will be sticking with Opera as my default browser, and await 10.50 eagerly.
