Re: Replace pcmanfm in 9.10.01 with Thunar

For me pcmanfm is ok too. Just the matter of the research which is very very bad. I like catfish but I don't know if it is possible to make them interact (I mean using catfish when you launch a search in pcman)

+1 pcmanfm

I also prefer pcmanfm.  I used Thunar again for a couple weeks and was frustrated by not seeing all my partitions, not having tabs, not being able to get preference information for multiple directories at the same time, and not having a delete that did not go to the trash can.  I'll stick with pcmanfm.

Although for my intents and purposes pcmanfm and Thunar are practically the same, I prefer the default settings with Thunar.

Thunar + 1

Re: Replace pcmanfm in 9.10.01 with Thunar

Please keep PCMan as the default and let users add something if they prefer. I like XFCE4 (Xubuntu), but went to #! for wanting less of everything I consider "extra" and adding only as desired. Keep #! trim. Plus, I really dislike MC's, and mc-type variant, layout.

Only thing I'd like to see changed in PCMan is /home, etc. rather than mount point volume size.

As for the Find Files function, it works good for my rare search, but I'll take the "find" terminal command any day.
