hi

i have installed crunch linux on my eee pc and its great . i am trying to get some sort of c++ compiler working , any ideas ?

I think g++ is your best bet, tho I've never really programed in C++, let along in C++ under Linux.

i managed to install g++, do you know any good editors that i can use to make the cpp files ?

you could check out eclipse, a popular ide for multiple languages.. http://www.eclipse.org
