Problems with sound-plug (jack) on eeepc 1001px/r101

hi again friends,

maybe some of u have problems with the sound-jack on eeepc or other laptops where sound-out and mic are in one jack. The speakers of the netbook work perfektly but if i plug a speaker in the jack i dont hear something. Does someone have a solution?

My system:

crunchbang alpha 2
eeepc r101/1001px
