Topic: Hello #!, I am coming!

Hello to all #! users.
Am writing this post to let you know that a new user is coming! I've heard a lot about Crunchbang and even had the pleasure of using one of the previous versions (am still a little distro hopper sad ). And when I learned that #! is switching to Debian, decided to wait a little till things stabilize a little. But today, after reading so many good opinions on the new alpha, decided that it is not worth to wait any longer. So tonight will try to download the CD and have a closer look at it (and am almost sure that it will end up on my whole HD replacing Lucid). And also as a treat might install it on my eeePC 1000HG (will the 3G modem work?).
Anyway, hope to settle here, 'cause the impression I have from the previous version is still very warm big_smile

I have and use a couple of 3G USB Modems myself.

You live the snappy-ness and stablity of Crunchbang with Debian . . . Or is that. Debian with Crunchbang

Hi to all and thanks for warm welcome.
As for today I've installed #! on my eeepc and it seems the two like each other. Hope they will cooperate, that is if I don't mess something (I think I'm famous for that). There is only one "problem" - everything seems to work so well, that I am afraid I will have no posts to the forums big_smile
(unless I go into 'off-topics').
This is my very first impression, more to come (no, that is not a promise, it's a threat wink )

Using #!Crunchbang is kinda "boring" . . . nothing ever breaks and everything works.  sad Sheesh.  What are we gonna do for excitement around here?

cool  Your forum posts don't have to be questions . . . they can be comments and answers to anothers question.  You do have #! experiences to share.  At least, you will.
