Topic: I'm Impressed

Me, I'm a Geek by profession and have been in the *nix world for many, many moons.  I cut my teeth on HPUX and Solaris and have been running Linux exclusivity on my Home/Work Desktops and Laptops for around 6 years now.  The only Windows I run is in VMWare for testing purposes only, that and I run some games when I get the itch.

Anyway I run Gentoo for my web server in a VPS and my Netbook and Workstations I've been running Linux Mint.  I tried Crunchbang some time back on an older Laptop (PIII) and liked where it was going.  I currently installed Crunchbang Statler Alpha2 and I must say I'm very impressed.  Rebasing to Debian is an excellent move and I'm impressed with what I see so far.

Keep up the good work, this project has excellent potential

I used to run Gentoo on my desktops and Lappy's for quite a while but got tired of compiling everything, so I just run it on my servers.

Anyway once Statler hit's at least RC I'll more than likely install it on my main rig.  I've always like XFCE4, it's a nice balance between lightweight but nice features.  Plus I love the old CDE style of just right click for the menu anywhere on the desktop.  For the life of me I don't see why more desktops don't at least have that option.

I ran Fluxbox as my desktop for a long time, still miss a few things about it like the tab's.  Openbox is a lot like Fluxbox, but I guess I've become a bit more lazy in my old age lol
