I found this thread, but it is quite old and so I am not sure if it is still relevant: http://forums.cafepress.com/eve/forums/ … 4/m/978109

The second post is interesting:

You can login to your PayPal acount and take advantage of their Virtual MasterCard which will allow you to buy anything on the internet and the funds will be debitted from your PayPal account.

Click on the "Withdraw" tab under My Account and choose "Shop online with a PayPal virtual card" option.

I did not know PayPal offered such a service.

Re: Making Donations

thanks, will try it when I am back home from vacation.

Re: Making Donations

It isn't much, but I donated $10 today,
This is my first donation to any project like this - EVER - but then again, this is the best Linux disto I've ever used.
I urge everyone who think this distro suits their needs to donate as much or little as they can afford, don't forget that the moral support you show, even if you donate a single dollar tells Philip that you appreciate his work a whole lot and that you want him to keep at it.
It's easy and fast to do, so don't wait!
DONATE NOW! smile

It ships to Australia so the US shouldn't be a problem smile

Re: Making Donations

Thanks for the info. I've been wondering how to donate.

Re: Making Donations

Hi,

FYI - I clicked on the "donate" button and received the following Paypal error message:

"PayPal cannot process this transaction because of a problem with the seller's website. Please contact the seller directly to resolve this problem."

Hmm, strange, it is working my end. Maybe there was a glitch with PayPal's servers?

Re: Making Donations

Just gave a bit, but plan on making it a monthly donation sort of thing - you know spread the cost out over time. Seems more than justified for the quality I'm getting, plus this way, you know, have a beer on me... smile

Thank you for your contribution, it is really appreciated and will help to fund the new file servers. You rock! smile

Re: Making Donations

I have made some slight alterations to the donations page, hopefully it should now be slightly more obvious where the funds are being spent. The project owes a huge THANK YOU to everybody who has donated. The new build and file servers would just not be an option without the generous contributions the project has been receiving. smile
