Why do you have repositories of programs already in the ubuntu/#! repositories listed?

Does this give you more up to date or testing version of them?

More up to date. Some PPAs also provide testing versions but the usual rationale is just being up to date.

I popped by this thread to mention Transmission but I see it's already added. It's come a long waay since the Jaunty version:

(Their site currently not working, check Google's cache.)

Get the latest from their repos to avoid the severe hangs. Similar story re Deluge.

Figured I'd add some karmic repo's for those that have done a dist. upgrade.

A lot of these are already listed, I've just changed them all to karmic to make adding some of them a little less tedious for others smile
