Re: CrunchBang Panel
BTW I would use the "user-desktop" gtk icon for the show desktop button.
BTW if you wish to contact me, send me an e-mail instead of a PM.

Nice panel Adcomp, I really like some of the setup. One thing I would like to have it do is maybe have preferences or does it? I would like to color it different than my GTK theme. If you can do that or if I missed how, either would be great.
anonymous, could you maybe upload the file somewhere so not everyone has to do what you did?
(or, if it's plain-text, pastebin it)

You really don't joke with gtk icon ![]()

I take my icons seriously; I dislike seeing non-native skins and icons ![]()

SIZE 1440 x 900 - Override gtk-theme

Also when I use show desktop it removes conky as well. It will come back most of the time.
I don't have this problem .. maybe can you take a look in your conkyrc ?
@kelean - look in your conky file and look for "own_window_type".
If it says "own_window_type normal", then change it to "own_window_type desktop"
Thanks anonymous, that worked. I have been trying a bunch of different conky scripts. All copy and paste.
ADcomp, is it possible that menu button calls up the crunchbang menu.
Thanks Kelean.
The #! Menu button showed up lots of different categories when I was using the tarball on the first page of this thread. Now when I have installed the 0.1.1 deb, it only shows me System Tools.
The quickterminal is nice. But I have to click in the window each time I open it to be able to write in it.
Good work! Tell me when you want it translated =o)
Hi, here's a test of the 0.1.1 :
Installed the package by double-clicking the .deb, which caused the package-installer to get to work quite smoothly.
Alt+F2, then Killall lxpanel, then cbpanel.
Up comes the panel, everythings appears, menu, apps, desktop, open apps, plugins, systray, clock, settings.
Opened settings, varied length from 100 to 80%, font from sans 10 to sans 8.
On refresh, the systray part disappears, and I lose wi-fi connection.
I started my session (Ctrl-alt-BackSpace) and played the sequence again, the modified settings have been saved.
It seems refreshing kills the apps in systray.
Which command could i run to give you a clue ?

I love the way this project is coming together . Fantastic work ADcomp ![]()
ADcomp - I think you should (additionally) include a white #! logo for the menu. The black one would be barely visible on dark wallpapers, like in your screenshot.
* Override gtk / themes
* ..
Nice work! I am really enjoying being able to watch this develop, it is coming along nicely. The new gtk theme options are excellent! ![]()
I'm now using this as my default panel.
One thing I'd like to know if there is a way to adjust the clock.
I like to be able to set it to a 12 hour clock with day of the week, am & pm, in other words use strftime.
off topic but could I get a link to that wallpaper?

Thanks for your test/feedback .. Yes, It's possible to change clock/time format but It's not yet in UI Preferences.
If I can , I push an update tonight. Nice screenshot !

Okay, great. Maybe we'll see cbpanel in #!'s repos soon? Seems like it's gotten official support.
Thanks for your great work, ADcomp.
