Re: My tint2 config

I have a problem and I don't know how to get rid of it.

Have a look at the border:

When I do: Preferences > Openbox config > Reconfigure: This happens:

I don't understand why this is happens. I need to get rid of that border. Here is my config:

Oh, and we have a thread specifically for Tint2 help smile

No I don't use compositing it interferes with my conky.

And thanks I'll transfer it now.

I didn't do all that much, infact: changed the active font to 100, added borders and a color 10 background for the active task, and added text to the tasks in the panel. Oh and borders to the clock and sys tray.

Some weird things happen though. The volwheel and battery apps tend to randomly appear/disappear. Right now there's no battery app though it's sometimes there. No clue why.

Re: My tint2 config

Does anybody happen to know the default tint2 config from a 9.04 #! install? I am running statler now but I want the old config from 9.04 and I work from there. If anybody has it, the whole thing, can you post it here?
EDIT: Forget it, I got what I needed from the live disc.

Thank you!
The fonts I'm using are Century Gothic Bold & Sawasdee. Conky clock's font is Monofur.

thanks! I am a monofur fan myself--I can't believe I didn't notice tongue

Re: My tint2 config

Hello, i would like to put days and monthes in french.
For exemple: Dimanche instead of Sunday and Avril instead of April.
Thanks for your help!

Re: My tint2 config

@guantas,
First install the languages you need with:
sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales

Have a look at this thread: http://crunchbanglinux.org/forums/topic … -settings/
My solution is in post 6...

My system-language is english, date & time (& some more) in dutch....

Good luck,

Re: My tint2 config

@Kookaburra
The volume level doesn't operate  with Volwheel's icon in tint.
A clic on "mixer"  open "controleur de volume Nvidia nforce2 (alsa mixer)" but no potentiometer could change the sound level (and they are not on mute)
Sorry for my english.

Re: My tint2 config

You can try very similar one : http://sourceforge.net/projects/gvolwheel/
Maybe work better for you ?

Re: My tint2 config

what's the correct time format syntax to get the clock in tint to display 12-hour clock w/o seconds?

mine is currently

time1_format = %r
time1_font = sans 9

but that only displays -- "10:30:54 PM"
if i do %H:%M -- it does 24hour style

edit: sorry, will post this in the help thread instead
