Topic: [bug] Crunchbang & Virtualbox

On windows 7 64bit and 32bit, using #! lite 32bit and 64bit, fully updated in virtualbox (they are the guests), i've encountered a bug. With the guest additions installed, i can resize the machine and make the screen bigger. However, when i make the screen smaller, it exits my session back to the login screen. It does not seem to be a virtualbox bug, as I've tried multiple versions of their guest additions, and multiple verisons of the actual program. It may be specific to #! lite, but not to either 32bit or 64bit versions.

I don't know what else i can do to help. But any non-#! distro works just fine. For example, now testing Xubuntu 9.10 and it works flawlessly, previously I had no problems with madbox either.

I don't have the time to troubleshoot this, so I don't know if i can be any more help. One thing i would suggest someone with more time could try is a Ubuntu 9.04 install, if that works, use the #! install script, and see if it still works.

Would also be worth it to see if others encounter this same bug. I don't know if it will translate to the linux version of virtualbox (or the OSE version for that matter).

Re: [bug] Crunchbang & Virtualbox

Ok to fix the problem change the GDM theme to anything else except #!'s theme.
