Aww shucks, t'wern't nuttin, rooster.
Enjoy the flavour!
You know, since rstrcogburn mentioned cinnamon and sugar, and sort of along that line of thought, I remember hearing about people who would put a stick of cinnamon in their sugar jar just to add a bit of flavor. I've not tried that but once or twice I did put a vanilla bean http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanilla_bean into the sugar jar -- anyone else?
Reference comments by vrkalak: as far as I'm concerned flavors don't belong in coffee: cinnamon is for cookies, vanilla is for ice cream, chocolate is for cold winter nights with your wife as you sit cuddled under a blanket and, um, er, and pecans should be eaten out of hand.
Yeah. That's what I meant to say. ![]()

Did that work? Wouldn't that add the "vanilla flavour" to the coffee? {thinking of what is coming below}

Yea, well YOU can eat pecans under the blanket on a cold winters night with your wife if you want, I know what I'll be doing, with my wife, and it doesn't involved pecans for cryin' out loud.

And if there are some young whippersnappers lurking in the thread - YES! You read that right! I'm older than you, you may even consider me a dinosaur BUT I ain't dead yet! ![]()
Flavoured coffees have their place, I do like them - every now and then, but I prefer my coffee straight!
....Wouldn't that add the "vanilla flavour" to the coffee?
Your question presupposes that the sugar is only used for coffee. ![]()
guys, coffee really isn't that healthy, so don't violate that)) you'd better drink juice and be fit:)

juice? jiuce? JUICE? I'll have you know we do drink juice... the juice from the coffee bean. ![]()
A few years ago I had a Kidney Stone.
In the Emergency Room (after, the stone passed thru my urine; very painful)
the Doctor asked me, "How much water do you drink?"
"Water? I don't drink any water," I said. "Water ... pfft, good luck with that idea"
As humans we tend to do most anything that is not good for our health. ![]()
I do not advocate drinking coffee or doing anything that is not healthy. I just like it.

A few years back I was driving across town and saw an old, and I do mean old man driving an old, and I do mean old Plymouth Belvedere. It may have looked like this when he drove it off the showroom floor
but the South Texas sun had done its best to fade it almost to fog. Anyway, they were in front of me and prominently and no doubt proudly displayed was a single bumper sticker which read
Eat right. Stay fit. Die anyway.

I'm quite sure that I heard something recently on the news that mentioned coffee's benefits -- as much as I heard mention of chocolate's benefits. Let's see who finds it first. ![]()

To be fit, better drink some water and eat some fruits (plenty of fibers for your transit, many vitamins and trace-elements for your health and no synthetic sugars), less risk of diabetes and overweight.
And coffee and chocolate are good for you in reasonable amounts... ![]()
Eat right. Stay fit. Die anyway.
True, absolutely true. No denying it---no getting away from it!
And as one little old lady put it, "I'm 86, I have eaten right and exercised all my life and look where it got me! Now give me my damn Blackforest cake with ice cream and shut up. I'm going out living it up!"

Not sure about chocolate but coffee is easy:

Chocolate huh ... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
OH dear, did you know ...
researched it....

Oh boy do I relate to this, but they got it before I passed it as I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. They broke it up into three pieces with laser surgery, we don't need to go into "where" they went in after it. Anyway, they gave me the three pieces and the doc told me that the smallest one would be like having a baby. Damn! and the biggest was twice the size of the small one. Thnk God they got it out while I was "out". ![]()
I hate drinking plain water, I do "now" but I do not like it. It's lacking something ... like coffee, tea, lemon juice and sugar, etc. etc.
Vegetables are a Food Group - and I eat as little of those as I can so I have to make it up with another Food Group.
All kidding aside, like vrkalak, I'm not advocating anything here either. Just because we like it doesn't make it right. Also remember: To much of a good thing is bad for you as well.
Think back -- Was there a coffee vending machine in your high school?
I don't think we had one.
The teachers' lounge must have had one, but I guess it was "too controversial" to give the kids coffee?
Even at home ... I'd have to 'sneak' a cup of coffee.
My mother would make 'us' drink hot cocoa

I don't think they existed back then. In my high school, the teachers room had the old coffee peculators, damn they smelled good!

REALLY! No wonder I got blamed for the missing coffee! Of course in my house I did sneak a cup or two, they told me it would stunt my growth! Can you imagine. Cocoa you're lucky, we had "Ovaltine" YUK! pitooie!
While searching for information on Xfce I found this http://lifehacker.com/5585217/what-caff
ue&s=i Go figure. ![]()
I find it hilarious when ordering "coffee. black. large." gets a blank stare at bistros.
Finally got a french press. It's amazing.
As far as the health worries concerning coffee, it's 99% water + antibiotics + caffeine. While juices are better, sodas and energy drinks are WAAAY worse.

Okkkkkkkkkkkk so you want us to believe there is a caffeine based Xfce ... right?
Do you realize how fast OB would disappear? ![]()
And while there I was reading (italics mine):
For all of its wild popularity, caffeine is one seriously misunderstood substance. It's not a simple upper, and it works differently on different people with different tolerances—even in different menstrual cycles. But you can make it work better for you.
Well, I'll definitely have to research that! Because every full moon, if I don't drink coffee, I get all hairy and start baying at the moon! Just joking... ![]()
Actually and being serious here, that is one good read! Hard to believe you were researching Xfce.
EDIT: And while there I found this - I want one:

I wasn't really . . . but, I did find these.
Have you tried them, yet?
I have one of these new single-cup coffee makers . . . no too bad either.

The coffee k-cups is still a little pricey, but getting better. And some of these varieties are great!!

Of course you realize
I'M CRAVING A COFFEE NOW!!!!!!!!!! ![]()
{stumbling off to the kitchen ....} ![]()
All those cups and filters and grinders just got in the way and and and and. And it was Xfce, too.
I love it. I can't count how many times I've heard "... and how would you like yout coffee?"
... and my response was "Intravenously, please!"
But I've never seen a cart ... DAMN!! That is me!! So much for ![]()
Am I in the mood for a new avatar? Naaaaaaaaa, my modified SR-71 "S-11" is good. ![]()
beer is a food group too
