Yeah I just checked out that directory, oh well there were a few nice wallpaper quality pictures in there.

I view KDE like I view snow. It looks fun and marvelous, it's fun to play in, but after a while I just want someone to take it all away.

Re: #! CrunchBang Linux Desktop Screenshots

I've finally got round to setting up CrunchBang with a dual screen display - two 1280x1024 19inch LCDs side by side, with the Nvidia vn 173 driver installed and Twinview activated. It has taken a bit of tweaking to stop applications opening dead centre - ie, in the deadzone gap between the two screens - but I'm finally happy with it.

It's actually copy of bmpanel "with" Jello theme (http://www.box-look.org/content/show.ph … tent=76323), because although there is said that bmpanel theme is included with I didn't see one, so I made it. Damn tongue

Re: #! CrunchBang Linux Desktop Screenshots

I think after all is said and done I prefer tint2 in openbox over bmpanel. In pekwm though I think bmpanel is a better option.

Yep, I still think tint2 is better overall.

It was part of this:  Link to Conky Thread.  I created it and eventually removed the weather stuff.  You may have to tweak it depending on where you put it on your screen.  I also used the font Apple Garamond which isn't free, you can probably find it though.

Re: #! CrunchBang Linux Desktop Screenshots

New theme, both openbox and gtk, and omns new wallpaper (it suited perfectly, ta omns!!)

Oh! and a streamlined Conky (and I'm using the clock thing some people noticed in I think it was hanna's, except I found it on the arch forums ages ago and just never found time to de-clutter conky. Conky has an if in it to make wifi stuff appear under network if I'm connected to wifi)

Nice dark theme!

It was my clock, I actually created it from scratch, took a bit of time figuring out alignments.  However I didn't come up with it, I had seen something similar in the past as well.

Usually I loathe Elegant Brit, however while experimenting with Compiz-Fusion as my WM I decided to use it for the color contrast with the wallpaper.

Conky by Arplinux/Arpbook.

In Use:  conky, trayer, tint2, mocp, firefox, pcmanfm
Emerald:  Elegant Brit
GTK:  Elegant Brit
Icons:  Eikon2
Wallpaper: from Interfacelift.com (I think)

I view KDE like I view snow. It looks fun and marvelous, it's fun to play in, but after a while I just want someone to take it all away.

Thanks! And fair enough on the second bit.

I'm planning on editing the theme a little, mostly the openbox theme (not sure about the menu's colours...)

Re: #! CrunchBang Linux Desktop Screenshots

Made a new version of my #! Missed the Metro #! wallpaper.
A scrot here...
The full-size wallpaper here...

The photo I used for the bottom layer is "metro streak" by lwsdm. The photo of the Helsinki metro timetable display is originally by Juhana Hietaranta.

I still wish I could make the analog clock show the current time (now it's 8.10.02)... heheh.

NOW I figured out how to put the timetable display to use!

http://i40.tinypic.com/muhhc7.jpg

Full desktop scrot:  ...   And finally the wallpaper, elaborated a bit, with an expansion on the "warning tape" pattern:

No need to tell me I'm crazy. I know!
