This is my first post here, so I figured what better way to introduce myself than with a scrot of my desktop! I have #! (unofficial 9.04) running on my Aspire One, and I love it.
Clean:

Dirty (sort of):

GTK: Elegant Brit
Openbox theme: Elegant Brit
Icons: AreaSVG
Conky: Another Conky Script

Testing new build of tint2 in xfce. The new systray fix is neat. This setup looks remarkably like my old openbox one.
That desktop picture is really nice. Where can I get it?

It's in there somewhere, I remember spotting it a few weeks ago.

I finally figured out how tint2 assigns background id's to get a taskbar for each desktop.
Ive been playing with a Maurice Sendak "where the wild things are" kinda thing,
and experimenting with Hannas Summer stripes theme. http://www.box-look.org/content/show.php?content=107245
I also added Ubuntus Netbook Midbrowser to the mix. I like its minimalism.
@ADcomp
very very nice

As white themes go this is pretty neat. I really like what you've done with tint2 ![]()
New shot. Spent a lot of time on this one, I really like it.
....and I love tint2.

Yeah, nice - wood works really well as a background, I have some really nice oak for mine. The problem with a lot of wood wallpapers is they look plastic, and/or they've been constructed by repeating a pattern of a smaller image, and you can always tell, or they've messed it up by sticking a picture of a flower on it, or something. I found a couple of nice wood images here: http://jsowoodproducts.com/gallery/main.php
I keep meaning to post mine, but it's pretty boring, and my conky is still, uh, under development, and also I don't want to sign up to a spam site just so I can upload an image.
