INSTALLATION Which version of CrunchBang should I download?

CrunchBang 10 “Statler” is available for both i386 and AMD64 architectures. You can download “Statler” from here: A description of each follows:

  • i686
    For use on PCs with Intel Pentium Pro/II/III/4/4M/D/M, Xeon, Celeron, Core or Atom; AMD K6-III, Geode LX/NX, Athlon (K7), Duron, Opteron, Sempron, Turion or Phenom; Transmeta Efficeon; VIA C3 “Nehemiah” or C7 processors.
  • AMD64
    For use on PCs with AMD64 or Intel 64 processors.

The development release Crunchbang 11 “Waldorf” is based on Debian testing. You can download “Waldorf” from here:
